For me, Northern Ontario epitomizes what it means to be a proud Canadian. You arrive up here on a two-lane road called the Trans Canada Highway. And it really is trans-Canada, but it sadly is just two lanes. There's you, Mother Nature, and the occasional car. Lake Superior is the overriding theme up here, and it is every bit as magnificent as billed. There's the super-powerful side of the lake, all big waves and dark skies, and there are the quiet moments, the misty mornings, the dark night skies. It's still pretty pristine up there, I hope we don't wreck that. I guess I'm going to have to come back, because there is still an awful lot I DIDN'T get to see. So much raw beauty.
